Abstract

The invention relates to the localised application of an optical brightener on clothing. According to the invention, the area treated becomes luminous when UV light is shone thereon, such that the treated clothing takes on a novel appearance, said brightener not having been applied previously in said manner (localised in certain areas and forming drawings, figures, text, etc. where it is applied).
