Abstract

An electronic settlement service utilizing an electronic value capable of dynamically controlling customer’s buying inclination. A customer uses a cellular telephone or the like to request an issuing store to issue an electronic value such as an electronic money and an electronic coupon ticket. Upon reception of the request, the issuing store issues an electronic value such as an electronic coupon ticket for nothing and manages the issued electronic value. The customer utilizes the electronic value for performing a settlement. Here, the issuing store can modify the date rate table so as to fluctuate the issued electronic value at a desired timing such as temporarily increasing or gradually decreasing the value.
