Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von 2-Halogen-N-Alkylpyridiniumsalzen zum Nachweisen und/oder Identifizieren einer Aminosäure, insbesondere einer α-Aminosäure. In einem weiteren Aspekt betrifft die Erfindung die Verwendung von 2-Halogen-N-Alkylpyridiniumsalzen im Rahmen des Edman-Abbaus.
