Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Gerät zur automatischen Ermittlung von Nukleinsäuresequenzen. Die sequenzierungsreaktion erfolgt durch den parallelen sequentiellen Aufbau der zu einzelnen fixierten einzelsträngigen Nukleinsäureketten komplementären Stränge. Der Sequenzierautomat führt diesen sequentiellen Aufbau durch und detektiert elektromagnetische Strahlung von einzelnen, markierten in die komplementäre Stränge eingebauten Nukleotiden (NT*s). Aus der Reihenfolge der eingebauten NT*s wird die Sequenz der immobilisierten Nukleinsäureketten bestimmt.
