Abstract

The invention relates to a housing (1) for a recessed light, said housing being produced according to an aluminium diecasting method. The production method enables the fixing means for the cover, and a positioning pin (3) for positioning the cover, to be directly cast in the same. Said recessed light comprises two potential openings for cable admissions (4) on at least one side thereof. During the production of the housing (1), earth connections (5, 5', 6) can simultaneously be established either inside or outside the housing (1). At least one cavity (7, 7', 8, 8') is provided on the outer wall of the housing (1), in such a way that a fixed connection between the surface of the ground and the epoxy resin mortar is ensured, by which means the housing is embedded (1) in the ground.
