Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de caractérisation selon au moins un descripteur, du timbre d'un signal sonore s(t) variant en fonction du temps pendant une durée D. Il consiste à définir ledit descripteur par l'étendue spectrale harmonique 'hss' du signal.
