Abstract
L'invention concerne un marqueur de positions de référence doté d'au moins trois réflecteurs, ledit marqueur étant attaché à un aimant supérieur d'un appareil à résonance magnétique qui forme un champ magnétique uniforme entre l'aimant supérieur et un aimant inférieur qui constitue une paire avec l'aimant supérieur, les deux aimants étant soutenus par un pôle. Un détecteur de positions pourvu d'un dispositif d'émission de lumière et d'une caméra de détection est rattaché à l'aimant supérieur dans un mouvement de balancement par le biais d'un mécanisme de bras et se déplace verticalement. Le pointeur que tient le médecin et qui est doté d'au moins trois réflecteurs, similaire au marqueur de positions de référence, indique la région d'un sujet à imager, à l'aide dudit pointeur. Au moyen dudit détecteur de positions, les positions desdits marqueur et pointeur sont déterminées. Le détecteur de positions émet à une unité de contrôle de l'appareil à résonance magnétique, une information sur la position de la section transversale à imager. Ainsi, la section transversale indiquée par le médecin au moyen du pointeur est automatiquement imagée et affichée sur un écran. Tandis qu'il observe l'image affichée, le médecin peut faire fonctionner le pointeur. Un élément de support servant à fixer un élément d'insertion à introduire dans la partie concernée du corps du sujet examiné ou traité est attaché de manière amovible au pointeur.
