Abstract
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de détermination de l'emplacement d'un terminal mobile selon la valeur d'estimation de probabilité maximale, dans un système de communication mobile comprenant une pluralité de stations de base, au moins un terminal mobile capable de communiquer avec les stations de base, et une station centrale capable de communiquer avec les stations de base et/ou un terminal mobile. La loi de probabilité indiquant la variation du niveau de réception à partir des stations de base CSi respectives au niveau d'une pluralité de points à l'intérieur d'une marge prévue dans laquelle le terminal mobile a la possibilité d'être présent est déterminée pour ces points sur la base du stockage de la base de données d'une station de base, du moins, des informations de position pour les stations de base CSi respectives. Une probabilité correspondant à la loi de probabilité susmentionnée est déterminée par rapport aux valeurs Ηo de niveau de réception depuis les stations de base CSi (i= 1 à N) mesurées par la station mobile, et le point présentant la valeur de probabilité la plus élevée est déterminé comme étant l'emplacement estimé du terminal mobile.
