Abstract

The invention relates to a device for preparing hot drinks from a liquid and a drink substrate. Said device comprises a liquid container (1) for receiving the liquid, and a substrate container (2) for receiving the drink substrate (7) and through which the heated liquid is guided into a drink container (3) for receiving the hot drink. The liquid container (1) is essentially closed in a steam-tight manner and comprises an overflow (10) which is directed into the substrate container (2). At least the liquid container (1) consists of a microwave-permeable material.
