Abstract

A molded pulp product having a pulp fiber layer (2) which is made from a single raw material composition, has a single layer structure, and has a density distribution in the thickness direction. The pulp fiber layer (2) has preferably a density distribution in which the density thereof changes from low to high or from high to low in the direction of thickness.
