Abstract

The present invention relates to a reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel, which comprises an assembly of a big section pipe of a large diameter, a middle section pipe of a middle diameter and a tip section pipe of a small diameter, and a plurality of fishline guide rings fitted on the exterior of said pipes rod in predetermined distances, and is characerized in that said big section pipe has a fishline guide throughhole having a predetermined diameter at a predetermined distance from a reel seat on the big section pipe, said fishline guide through-hole passing through the big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe. Thereby, it is possible to enjoy both of the bait casting reel fishing and the spinning reel fishing by using only one type of reel fishing rod and there are advantages that the economic burden to purchase both types of fishing rods can be reduced as well as the inconvenience to carry both types of fishing rods can be removed.

MULTI PURPOSE TYPE FISHINGROD

TECHNICALFIELD

The present invention relates to a reel fishing rod which can make it possible to use both of a spinning type reel and a bait casting type reel in one type of fishing rod, especially to a reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning type reel and a bait casting reel wherein said spinning type reel is downwardly attached on the reel seat so that at the downside of a spinning rod are located and fixed fishline guide rings through which a fishline passes and said bait casting type reel is upwardly attached on the reel seat so that at the upside of a casting rod are located and fixed fishline guide rings through which a fishline passes.

BACKGROUND ART

In general, a fishing reel can be classified into a spinning type reel and a bait casting reel, which are attached to their special fishing rods, that is, a spinning type rod and a bait casting rod, respectively.

In a spinning type reel, fishline is wound on a spool with the rotation of a handle. In order to uniformly wind the fishline on the spool, the spinning type reel is characterized by a structure such that the spool rotates and moves back and forth at the same time.

Whereas, in order to uniformly wind the fishline on the spool for a bait casting type reel, a spool returning device is needed. That is, the bait casting type reel is characterized by a structure such that, when turning the handle, the spool rotates with keeping its original position and the spool returning device moves right and left to wind the fishline around the spool.

Consequently, fishline is uniformly wound around a spool by a back and forth movement of the spool for a spinning type reel, but by a right and left movement of a spool returning device for a bait casting type reel. Due to their structural features, the spinning type reel and the bait casting type reel are combined to their special reel fishing rod.

In other words, since a bait casting type reel has a structure that its spool rotates with keeping its original position and should wind and release in a uniform manner fishline guided by a right and left movement of a spool returning device, the bait casting type reel is upwardly attached to a bait casting type rod in which the fishline guide rings are fixed on the upside of the rod. Likewise, since a spinning type reel has a structure that its spool rotates with moving back and forth to wind fishline, the spinning type reel is downwardly attached to the spinning type rod which has the fishline guide rings fixed on the downside of the rod.

There are many types of reel fishing rods which can be commercially available in Korea. However, there is no reel fishing rod which can be used for both of a spinning type reel and a bait casting reel since all of the commercially available fishing rods has directed to only one function as a spinning type rod or a casting type rod. Therefore, if a person which to enjoy various types of fishing, he also should prepare various corresponding types of fishing rod such as each of spinning type rod and a bait casting rod. For example, if he wishes to enjoy the bait casting type reel fishing, a bait casting type reel fishing rod of which guide rings are fixed at the upside of the rod will be needed. Similarly, if he wishes to enjoy the spinning type reel fishing, a spinning type reel fishing rod of which guide rings are fixed at the downside of the rod will be needed. In order to fulfill both of the bait casting type reel fishing and the spinning type reel fishing, there is an economic burden to purchase both types of fishing rods as well as an inconvenience to carry both types of fishing rods.

Therefore, it is preferable to provide a fishing rod of lower price in cost view and having possibility of being applied to both types of a bait casting reel and a spinning type reel in function view, with solving the above problems.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel, and said rod is characterized in that a fishline guide through-hole having a predetermined diameter is formed in a big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe, and thus, when said fishline is guided to guide rings, the front end of a fishline passes or does not pass through said fishline guide through hole depending on the use of a bait casting type reel or a spinning type reel, respectively.

Another object of the present invention is to prevent the fishing rod distortion generated when a bait casting reel fishing rod is used, by forming a fishline guide through-hole having a predetermined diameter in a big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe and guiding the front end of a fishline to guide rings via said fishline guide through hole when using a bait casting reel fishing rod.

Other objects of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the detailed description and drawings attached.

DISCLOSURE OFTHE INVENTION

The reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to the present invention for solving the above-described problems, comprises an assembly of a big section pipe of a large diameter, a middle section pipe of a middle diameter and a tip section pipe of a small diameter, and a plurality of fishline guide rings fitted on the exterior of said pipes rod in predetermined distances, and is characterized in that said big section pipe has a fishline guide through-hole having a predetermined diameter at a predetermined distance from a reel seat on the big section pipe, said fishline guide through-hole passing through the big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe.

Preferably, it -is characterized in that the inner sides of both ends of said fishline guide through-hole is provided with rings to reduce the friction when drawing the fishline .

Optionally, it is characterized in that the outlet of said fishline guide through-hole directs to said fishline guide ring located at the end of the big section pipe.

Optionally, it is characterized in that the spinning reel rod is a two-pieces rod and has their joint part of the big section rod and the middle section rod.

Optionally it is characterized in that a pressure- reducing member is closely wound around the exterior of said big section pipe without forming any obstruction to the inlet and outlet of said fishline guide through-hole and a binding agent is applied to said pressure-reducing member.

By constructing a fishline guide through-hole which passes through the big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe, the front end of a fishline is guided to the guide rings via said fishline guide through-hole or the front end of a fishline released from a reel is directly guided to the guide rings without passing through said fishline guide through-hole hole, depending on the use of a bait casting type reel or a spinning type reel. Therefore, it is characterized in that it is possible to enjoy both of the bait casting reel fishing and the spinning reel fishing by using only one type of reel fishing rod.

As a result, there are advantages that the economic burden to purchase both types of fishing rods can be reduced as well as the inconvenience to carry both types of fishing rods can be removed.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUTTHE INVENTION

The examples of the reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to the present invention is illustrated in detail by referencing the drawings attached.

In addition, in drawings used for illustrating the present invention, the same constituting parts have the same numbers and any repeated explanation thereof may be avoided.

Although there may be a plurality of examples of the present invention, the most preferable examples are given and explained in detail in below. It may be possible to understand the object, characteristics and advantages of the present invention by such preferable examples of the present invention.

FIG 1 is a perspective view of the reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to the present invention, showing a state in which a bait casting reel is combined with a spinning reel rod, and FIG 2 is an enlarged section view showing A portion in FIG 1 in more detail.

The reel rod according to this Example is, as shown in FIG 1 and FIG 2, comprises a big section pipe (20) of a large diameter, a middle section pipe (30) of a middle diameter and a tip section pipe (40) of a small diameter, said middle section pipe (30) and tip section pipe (40) forming a set and being separated from the big section pipe (20)

The big section pipe (20), middle section pipe (30) and tip section pipe (40) are taped to the front end thereof and thus their diameters decrease to the front end thereof in the same manner as conventional fishing rods. A reel seat (90) for attaching a conventional bait casting reel (60) is provided on the exterior of the middle position of the big section pipe (20), and a conventional bait casting reel (60) is attached on the upside of the exterior of the reel seat (90) . There are provided a grip (10) at the rear end of the big section pipe (20) , and a joint portion of a big section pipe (20a) and a joint portion of a middle section pipe (30a) which combine the big section pipe (20) and the middle section pipe (30) of a reel fishing rod.

In addition, there are provided guide rings (50) with each different diameter for guiding fishline (80) at the front end of the big section pipe (20), and at the downside of the exterior of the middle section pipe (30) and tip section pipe (40) . Each guide ring (50) plays a role to guide the fishline (80) without drooping when a bait casting reel (60) is used.

As shown in FIG 1 and FIG 2, at the front end of the big section pipe (20) to which a bait casting reel (60) is attached, there is provided a fishline guide through hole (100), which passes through the big section pipe (20) in a slightly inclined angle to the axe of the big section pipe. At this time, as shown in FIG 2, it is preferable that the upside end (that is, inlet) of said fishline guide through- hole (100) protrudes from the big section pipe (20) , and the downside end facing the ground (that is, outlet) thereof forms a straight line with the exterior of the big section pipe (20).

The fishline guide through-hole (100) provided as such can play a role to guide fishline released from the casting reel (60) into a plurality of guide rings (50) which have been fixed on each front end of said big section pipe (20), middle section pipe (30) and tip section pipe (40) . In other words, the front end of fishline released from the casting reel (60) is guided through the fishline guide through-hole (100) into each guide ring (50) fixed on the front end of said big section pipe (20), middle section pipe (30) and tip section pipe (40) in order.

Further, as represented in FIG 2, at the inner sides of both ends of a fishline guide through-hole (100), there is provided rings (100a and 100b) to reduce the friction when drawing fishline (80) . Since a fishline guide through-hole (100) inclines against the bait casting reel (60) and guide rings (50), a frictional heat may generate at the inclined place when a fishline (80) is wound through the guide rings (50) and the fishline guide through-hole (100) onto the bait casting reel (60) . Therefore, said rings (100a and 100b) can play a role to minimize any frictional heat which may generate on both ends of the fishline guide through-hole (100) .

As shown in FIG 3, a pressure-reducing member (110) is closely wound around the exterior of said big section pipe (20) in which a fishline guide through-hole (100) is provided, without forming any obstruction to the inlet and outlet of said fishline guide through-hole (100) and a binding agent is applied thereto.

As such, a spinning rod provided with a fishline guide through-hole (100) has advantages that it is possible to combine a bait casting reel as well as that it is possible to enjoy bait casting reel fishing by using a spinning rod and that it is possible to prevent the rod distortion by using a spinning rod.

FIG 4 is a perspective view, showing a state in which a spinning reel is combined with the spinning reel rod.

In FIG 4, by attaching a spinning reel (70) to the spinning rod, it is possible to enjoy the spinning reel fishing since the fishline (80) released from spinning reel (70) is directly guided into a plurality of guide rings (50) fixed on the front end of the big section pipe (20), middle section pipe (30) and tip section pipe (40) without passing through the fishline guide through-hole (100) .

Meanwhile, a comparison can be made with a conventional technology wherein both types of fishing rods are prepared in order to fulfill both of the bait casting type reel fishing and the spinning type reel fishing. However, it can be clearly understood that, by constructing a fishline guide through-hole which passes through the big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe, the front end of a fishline is guided to the guide rings via said fishline guide through-hole and thus it is possible to enjoy both of the bait casting reel fishing and the spinning reel fishing by using only one type of reel fishing rod.

As a result, according to the present invention, there are advantages that the economic burden to purchase both types of fishing rods in order to fulfill both of the bait casting type reel fishing and the spinning type reel fishing can be reduced and the inconvenience to carry both types of fishing rods can be removed.

Further, it is cleat that there various modification can be possibly made by persons having ordinary skill in the field.

Such modified examples should not be considered in a separate manner as having different spirit and vision of the present invention, and thus they should be understood as included in the scope of the present invention.

INDUSTRIALAPPLICABILITY

As clearly understood from the detailed description of the present invention, there is an advantage that, by guiding the front end of a fishline into guide rings via said fishline guide through-hole, it is possible to enjoy both of the bait casting reel fishing and the spinning reel fishing with only one type of reel fishing rod, and thus, the economic burden to purchase both types of fishing rods can be reduced as well as the inconvenience to carry both types of fishing rods can be removed. The fishing rod of the present invention can be applied to all types of fishing using a reel including, for example, seaside rock fishing, boat fishing, casting fishing, sweet fish fishing, stream fishing, carp fishing, bass fishing, trout fishing, fly fishing, lure fishing, Jigging fishing, dang-go fishing, parrot fishing, etc.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS

1. Reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel, comprising an assembly of a big section pipe of a large diameter, a middle section pipe of a middle diameter and a tip section pipe of a small diameter, and a plurality of fishline guide rings fitted on the exterior of said pipes rod in predetermined distances, characterized in that said big section pipe has a fishline guide through-hole having a predetermined diameter at a predetermined distance from a reel seat on the big section pipe, said fishline guide through-hole passing through the big section pipe in a predetermined angle to the axe of the big section pipe.

Reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to Claim 1, wherein the inlet of said fishline guide through-hole protrudes from the exterior of the big section pipe, and the outlet of said fishline guide through-hole forms a straight line with the exterior of the big section pipe.

3. Reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to Claim 1, wherein the inner sides of both ends of said fishline guide through- hole is provided with rings to reduce the friction when drawing fishline.

4. Reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to Claim 1, wherein the outlet of said fishline guide through-hole directs to said fishline guide ring located at the front end of the big section pipe.

Reel fishing rod used for both of a spinning reel and a bait casting reel according to Claim 1, wherein a pressure-reducing member is closely wound around the exterior of said big section pipe without forming any obstruction to the inlet and outlet of said fishline guide through-hole and a binding agent is applied to said pressure-reducing member.
