Definitions
- the invention belongs to the general field of computer designing i.e modeling and drawing of technical objects and other graphs and geometry description on NC/CNC processing machines.
- modeling procedures are rather fixed when drawing a order of coordinates points as well as of some other parameters.
- the invention can be applied in designing, modeling (construction, drawing) of technical objects as well as with modeling/ drawing of some other graphs.
- the further possibility is to apply it in geometry programming, making parts on NC/CNC... machines for metal processing, wood processing etc.
- Relation statements present the relation among the position of entities' points, applying points coordinates and some other characteristic geometric parameters within a relation statement.
- relation statements that either include the relation greater (than) or the relation less (than) or the relation that, at least, contain the relation greater (than) or relation less (than), such as relations greater or equal or less or equal, not greater (than) or not less (than), not greater or equal or not less or equal and in which relation statement, at one side includes, at least, one coordinate of characteristic point such as start point, end point, central point etc. or, at least, one characteristic geometric parameter such as angle, length, diameter, radius etc. out of the modeled entity and that is exactly the coordinate of a characteristic point or a characteristic geometric parameter that offers two solutions on the basis of previously applied procedure or previously described part of the procedure.
- characteristic point such as start point, end point, central point etc.
- characteristic geometric parameter such as angle, length, diameter, radius etc. out of the modeled entity and that is exactly the coordinate of a characteristic point or a characteristic geometric parameter that offers two solutions on the basis of previously applied procedure or previously described part of the procedure.
- relation statements such as " a bit greater” or " a bit less” or invertly set relation statement such as “greater in some way” or “less in some way” or some other variants of this relation statement such as "something is not greater” or “something is not less”
- the relation "not greater” i.e. "not less” or invertly set relation statement such as " something not greater” or “ something not less”
- just the one side of the relation "greater” (not greater in one variant) or less (not less in one variant) includes at least one coordinate of a characteristic point, such as start point, end point, central point etc. or, at least, one characteristic geometric parameter, such as angle, length, diameter, radius etc, included within the modeled entity; it is the coordinate of the characteristic point or the characteristic geometry parameter that included two solutions, arising from the previously described procedure or previously described part of the procedure.
- This procedure is used to establish the correctness of this relation statement and in the course of further procedure, it is selected the solution that offers the data that satisfy relation statement purposed for the modeled entity (the data that are included within the relation statement).
- Modeling procedure is intended for elements modeling i.e drawing as well as for the modeling and drawing of some other details and graphs i.e entities, widely applied in the course of designing or modeling of geometry in manufacturing of parts on NC/CNC...machines.
- relation statements in the course of modeling procedure help to define the position of the entity that is going to be modeled against some other entity.
- relation statements present relation among the position of the entity points of the modeled entity (applying point coordinates and some other characteristic geometry parameters within a relation statement).
- relation statements in which the left and the right side of the relation include terms that, apart from standard mathematical operations, standard mathematical functions, variables, constants etc, could include coordinates and some other characteristic entity parameters.
- the term, appearing both on the left and the right side of the relation, can be formed in the same way that is used in defining of values of any other geometry characteristic of an entity ( coordinates of characteristic points or some other parameters such as angle, diameter, radius, length etc). Additionally, it is possible to use a special type of a statement that includes only one term on one side of the relation (greater, less, not greater, not les), while the opposite side does not include anything.
- the solution is to include coordinates and some other characteristic parameters within a relation statement.
- the easiest solution is to require the value of a coordinate of some characteristic point or the value of some parameter to be either greater or less (for example, x coordinate of some characteristic point greater, angle is less, a radius is greater etc).
- x coordinate of some characteristic point greater, angle is less, a radius is greater etc for example, x coordinate of some characteristic point greater, angle is less, a radius is greater etc.
- This procedure requires to present some characteristic (characteristic point, coordinate of a characteristic point and some other parameters, such as diameter, radius, angle, length etc) or the relation of the position
- relation statements In the course of entity modeling, applied in this invention, there are used relation statements. It is a procedure of entity modeling, when a part of the procedure offers multy-solutions referring to the entity to be modeled (straight line, arc, circle etc) and inclusion of relation statements enables suitable entity modeling.
- Rational statements define closely the position of the entity to be defined, either on the basis of the relationship between characteristic coordinates and the parameter of the entity itself to be defined and some other integral parts of the relation statement or on the basis of the position of the given entity in relation to some other, previously defined entity.
- Expression for " than something" contains, at least, a constant or either one variable or x or y coordinate of some characteristic point of the entity to be modeled or some other entity or, at least, x or y coordinate of the section point of the entity to be modeled and some other entity or at least a characteristic geometric parameter of the entity to be defined.
- Type no.2 General definition:
- Expression for "something" includes, at least, one of the following geometric characteristics: x or y coordinate of some characteristic point of the entity to be modeled or, at least, characteristic parameter of the entity to be modeled or, at least, x or y coordinate of the section point of the entity to be modeled and some other entity.
- the modeling procedure includes relation statements, if necessary it is calculated the arithmetic expression (if it appears within the relation statement), the truthfulness (correctness) of the relation statement is checked.
- the selection of the solution for the entity to be modeled is made on the basis of the selection of the solution whose data lead to the truthfulness of the relation statement.
- This procedure is purposed to separate set of points for target entity straight line, on the basis of a set request so that the value of relation statement is "true".
- the procedure of straight-line modeling on the basis of input data such as characteristic points ( x y coordinates pair), coordinates of characteristic points, lengths parameter and angle parameter in relation to axis coordinates and the relation with some other entities, such as parallel with another straight-line, perpendicular on the other straight line or circumference or arc, tangently on the other circumference or arc in the case when input data offer two solutions for the previously applied procedure or in a previous part of the procedure, can generally be presented such as:
- relation statement of type 1 or type 2 select one of two straight-lines i.e either j' or j" so that the data (such as coordinates of a characteristic points or an angle in relation to coordinate axis-here, in this example, within relation statement of type 1 can include the coordinates of a start point as a geometric characteristics that are same for both straight-lines j' andj", and at least some of the characteristics, such as angle in relation to coordinate axis, one of the coordinates of the end point or a middle point as a geometric characteristics that can be distinguished between straight lines j' and j" included within the relation statement of any type; it is a must to include a geometric characteristic, that is different for straight lines f andj", within a relation statement so that it satisfies the requests arising from relation statement.
- One of the ways to examine the truthfulness( correctness) of a relation statement can be done by introducing the data included within a relation statement- firstly for one straight linej' or j" and ifdata( including coordinates of characteristic points or angle in relation to an axis coordinates that differ from these two solutions) these straight-lines, included within a relation statement, leading to a true relation statement are accepted as all necessary data referring to a subject straight-line and in a case when the data (among which are coordinates of characteristic points or an angle in relation to a coordinate axis that differ in these two solutions), then the said straight-lines, included within a relation statement, lead to untrue relation statement and all the other necessary data are accepted for the other straight-line.
