Abstract

The invention relates to an injector (1) for the injection of fuel. The injector (1) comprises a compensation device (7, 13, 19, 20,23) in order to compensate a pressure wave produced during injection, whereupon the pressure wave is fully compensated in a reliable manner by means of said compensation device.
