Abstract

L'invention concerne une poudre de protection contre le rayonnement ultraviolet, caractérisée par une composition comprenant une poudre de dioxyde de titane du type à oxydation haute température, contenant en tant que composant principal des particules monocristallines de type anatase, des particules monocristallines de type rutile, des particules monocristallines de type brookite ou un mélange de ces particules, ces particules étant dopées avec un ion aluminium, à raison de 0,5 à 8,0 % en poids par rapport au dioxyde de titane, présentant un diamètre compris entre 5 et 1000 nm, et ne formant pas de particules secondaires, ou contenant en tant que composant principal des particules d'oxyde de zinc. L'invention concerne également une dispersion formée avec cette poudre, et une pellicule ou un réceptacle protégeant contre les rayons ultraviolets, produits avec cette dispersion. Cette poudre de protection contre le rayonnement ultraviolet permet de préparer des dispersions avec diverses matières de base, permettant de combiner transparence dans la zone de la lumière visible, suppression de l'activité photocatalysatrice de celle-ci et haute protection contre le rayonnement ultraviolet, et présentant en outre des caractéristiques satisfaisantes de sécurité et d'hygiène.
