Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de flottation (1, 15) permettant de faire flotter des minéraux ou analogues issus de suspensions contenant lesdites particules, ledit dispositif de flottation comprenant une cellule de flottation (3) présentant des bords (2) et un fond (10), ainsi qu'un mécanisme de mélange conçu dans la cellule de flottation, des éléments permettant d'alimenter l'air dans la cellule et des éléments permettant d'alimenter le matériau à faire flotter dans la cellule et permettant d'éliminer de la cellule le matériau ayant flotté, de sorte qu'au moins un élément de support (6, 14) est relié au bord supérieur (4) pour faciliter l'évacuation de la couche de mousse (5) et pour supporter la couche de mousse (5). De plus, l'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire flotter des minéraux ou analogues issus de suspensions contenant lesdites particules à l'aide d'un dispositif de flottation (1, 15), ledit dispositif de flottation comprenant une cellule de flottation (3) présentant des bords (2) et un fond (10), ainsi qu'un mécanisme de mélange conçu dans la cellule de flottation, des éléments permettant d'alimenter l'air dans la cellule et des éléments permettant d'alimenter le matériau à faire flotter dans la cellule et permettant d'éliminer de la cellule le matériau ayant flotté, de sorte que la couche de mousse (5) est supportée et son élimination est facilitée par au moins un élément de support (6, 14) relié au bord supérieur (4) de la cellule de flottation (3).
