Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de photopolymérisation d'un revêtement polymérisable appliqué sur un substrat ainsi qu'une installation pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé, permettant d'obtenir des revêtements de très haute qualité et de réduire considérablement le temps de polymérisation. Ce procédé se distingue essentiellement par le fait que l'on procede a au moins deux insolations simultanées ou successives rapides du revêtement déposé sur le substrat par des rayonnements infrarouges de longueurs d'ondes différentes provenant d'au moins un générateur de rayonnements infrarouges courts (22a) et d'au moins un générateur de rayonnements infrarouges moyens (22b) disposés du côté de ladite surface du substrat (23). Les domaines d'utilisation concernent le revêtement d'objets industriels et/ou domestiques en bois, en métal, en matières synthétiques ou composites, en mélange de ces matières ou similaires.
