  • This invention relates to an outlet tap assembly for a liquid filled flexible packaging bag such as that employed in the well-known bag-in-box type of packaging. More particularly, but not exclusively, the invention is concerned with liquid filled flexible packaging bags that are to be used in reusable boxes such as those described in my international patent application entitled “FLEXIBLE PACKAGING BAG AND SUPPORT UNIT” published under no WO 01/00504 or my co-pending international patent application entitled “A BOX FOR A LIQUID FILLED PACKAGING BAG” published under no WO 02/092462.

  • Figure 6 illustrates a similar arrangement but one in which the slots or grooves are replaced by a helical slot or groove (30) that cooperates with pins or lugs (31) such that the helical slot or groove forms the cam surface and the pins or lugs form the cam follower.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un assemblage de robinet de sortie (1) destiné à un sac d'emballage souple comprenant un élément de sortie tubulaire (3) présentant un alésage (8) à l'intérieur, un robinet (5) situé à une extrémité (extrémité extérieure) permettant de commander l'écoulement de liquide à travers l'alésage, et un perforateur (4) situé à l'extrémité opposée (l'extrémité intérieure) dotée d'au moins une ouverture (13) communicant avec l'alésage en direction de l'extrémité intérieure. Une surface de serrage sans fin (15) encercle l'élément de sortie entre l'ouverture et le robinet, cette surface de serrage étant formée entre la surface extérieure d'une partie (14) de l'élément de sortie communiquant avec le robinet et une partie légèrement élargie (14a) en direction de l'extrémité intérieure. Un élément de serrage coopérant (16) est axialement déplaçable sur l'élément de sortie, et présente un bord de serrage sans fin (17) ou une surface permettant une coopération avec la surface de serrage sur l'élément de sortie, la matière (25) d'un sac d'emballage souple étant fonctionnellement serrée entre ces deux éléments. Des formations coopérantes (5, 23, 27, 27a, 28, 30, 31) sont fixées par rapport à chaque élément de sortie, et un manchon de serrage permet de contraindre le bord de serrage sans fin ou la surface de serrage sans fin sur l'élément de serrage de manière axiale, pour un emboîtement avec la surface de serrage sur l'élément de sortie, au moyen d'une manipulation appropriée de l'élément de sortie par rapport à l'élément de serrage. De préférence, l'élément de serrage forme une seule pièce avec le rebord de montage (18) conçu pour le montage du robinet par rapport à une boite contenant un sac d'emballage souple (11). De préférence, les formations coopérantes sont conçues pour fonctionner sur la base d'une came et d'un galet suiveur (5).
