Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de chauffage d'aluminium en fusion s'écoulant dans un élément de chenal de coulée chauffé comprenant les étapes consistant à prévoir une source d'aluminium en fusion et à prévoir un élément de chenal de coulée comprenant un premier côté (14) ainsi qu'un second côté (18), les premier et second côtés ayant des surfaces extérieures, les côtés constitués de matière céramique (24) résistant à l'attaque par l'aluminium en fusion. Le premier côté et le second côté présentent des réceptacles (34) d'éléments chauffants avec des tubes de protection (36) disposés dans les réceptacles. Les tubes de protection comprennent un matériau réfractaire choisi dans le groupe comprenant de la mullite, du nitrure de bore, du nitrure de silicium, du carbure de silicium, du graphite, de l'oxynitrure de silicium aluminium ou un métal choisi entre le Kovar (R) et le titane. Des éléments chauffants électriques (32) sont positionnés dans les tubes.
