Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'acide ω-bromoolkylcarboxyliques et de leurs esters, les ω-bromoalcanoates d'alkyle qui consiste à faire réagir HBr gazeux avec une lactone en absence de solvant à une température supérieure à la température de fusion du milieu réactionnel puis à estérifier l'acide ω-bromoalkylcarboxylique avec un alcool en milieu solvant et sans ajout de catalyseur, de façon à extraire l'eau sous forme d'un héteroazéotrope ternaire eau / solvant / alcool par distillation extractive.
