Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fermentation en continu de déchets biologiques solides comportant un espace d'admission (1) dans lequel sont mélangés des déchets solides et de l'eau. La masse humide obtenue glisse vers le bas et pénètre dans le tube de fermentation (2) à travers un orifice d'entrée rétrécie au sommet. Le processus de fermentation s'effectue dans le tube de fermentation (2) et le méthane, qui s'accumule dans la partie supérieure du tube de fermentation (2), est généré, d'où il est transporté sous une certaine pression et à travers un tube de sortie de gaz (4) vers les consommateurs. La pression dans laquelle sont immergés les déchets agit comme un agent d'étanchéité qui empêche une décharge non contrôlée de gaz à partir du tube de fermentation (2)., tout en procurant la possibilité d'une fermentation plus rapide. Pendant la fermentation, la masse de déchets et d'eau dans le tube de fermentation (2) glisse progressivement vers le fond, où elle pénètre dans l'espace de sortie (3), d'où la masse fermentée est extraite au moyen d'un élévateur (5).
