Abstract

The surface of the head of the inventive toothbrush is coated with a thin metallic layer, the thin layer of one metal being directly applied to the section of the thin layer of another metal. All metallic layers are applied in such away that they are contactable with the content of a mouth cavity. The inventive structural design of the toothbrush ensures the maximum output of metal ions in the mouth cavity. The thickness of each layer is usually equal to or less than 0.01mm. One metal being silver and another metal being gold, it is rational to alternate the gold coating (2) of the brush head and the silver coating (1) thereof. The area of the silver surface is chosen such that it is two times greater than the area of the golden surface.
