Abstract

A joint for a trim panel (110) comprising a first and second outer cover (12, 14) having an inner surface (16), an outer surface and a connector portion formed therein, and a connector platform (36). The connector platform (36) comprises a first connector portion (38) and a second connector portion (40), the first connector portion (38) connected to the first outer cover (12) connector portion and the second connector portion (40) is connected to the second outer cover (14) connector portion.
