Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de séparation d'énantiomères de N-(2,6-diméthylphényl)-1-propyl-2-pipéridinocarboxamide. Elle concerne aussi la manipulation des énantiomères de N-(2,6-diméthylphényl)-1-propyl-2-pipéridinocarboxamide de façon à obtenir des composés et des compositions pharmaceutiques possédant divers excès énantiomériques en (S)- N-(2,6-diméthylphényl)-1-propyl-2-pipéridinocarboxamide, dans le but de quantifier et de déterminer la participation du (R)- N-(2,6-diméthylphényl)-1-propyl-2-pipéridinocarboxamide concernant des effets anesthésiques et cardiotoxiques. Ces composés et compositions formulées énantiomériquement démontrent actuellement une amélioration importante des propriétés anesthésiques, avec un profil cardiotoxique équivalent à celui de l'énantiomère pur, le (S)- N-(2,6-diméthylphényl)-1-propyl-2-pipéridinocarboxamide.
