Abstract

L'invention concerne, dans un mode de réalisation, un système facilitant un transfert de données ente un dispositif de données et un terminal de données à travers un réseau. Le système s'initialise lui-même en établissant des connexions entre l'unité de commande, le multiplexeur et le dispositif de données. Le système fonctionne en recevant, à un multiplexeur, une requête provenant d'une unité de commande concernant un transfert de données du dispositif de données au terminal de données. Le multiplexeur envoie cette requête au dispositif de données qui contient les données demandées. Le multiplexeur reçoit alors un ensemble de paramètres provenant du dispositif de données, comprenant l'emplacement, dans le dispositif de données, des données sortantes. Le multiplexeur déplace les données du dispositif de données dans un flux de données sortantes, ce qui permet d'éliminer la nécessité de copier d'abord les données dans l'unité de commande.
