Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren, mit dem es möglich ist, niedermolekulare Vergärungsprodukte aus komplex aufgebauten höhermolekularen Reaktionsgemischen zu entfernen. Die Abtrennung der Vergärungsprodukte erfolgt hierbei dadurch, dass das Permeabilitätsvermögen dieser Stoffe durch Membranen, die für die Umkehrosmose und Nanofiltration eingesetzt werden, ausgenutzt wird, um diese von anderen, höhermolekularen Stoffen im Vergärungsmedium zu trennen. Hierdurch gelingt eine Auswaschung der im Vergärungsprozess erzeugten Produkte auch aus sehr komplex aufgebauten Reaktionsgemischen, wie sie z.B. in Bioreaktoren anfallen. Der Vorteil und die Neuheit des Verfahrens liegen darin, dass aufwendige vor- oder nachgeschaltete Verfahrensschritte entfallen können, um das durch den Vergärungsprozess erzeugte Produkt in solcher Reinheit zu gewinnen, dass eine weitere Veredelung problemlos möglich wird.
