Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à introduire un élément allongé souple dans deux parties au moins d'un tissu. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, ce dispositif comprend une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale, ainsi qu'une unité d'avancement destinée à faire avancer longitudinalement cet élément souple vers l'extrémité distale du dispositif de façon qu'une extrémité proximale de l'élément allongé puisse sortir de l'extrémité distale du dispositif avec une force suffisamment élevée pour traverser le tissu. Ce dispositif comprend également une première matrice incurvée située au niveau de l'extrémité distale du dispositif et imposant une configuration en boucle aux parties de l'élément allongé souple sortant de l'extrémité distale, l'élément allongé souple étant reçu dans une configuration en boucle lorsqu'il revient dans l'extrémité distale du dispositif. Dans un autre mode de réalisation de l'invention, un mécanisme de coupe permet à la partie en boucle de l'élément allongé souple d'être séparée du reste de l'élément allongé souple. Dans un mode de réalisation supplémentaire, ce mécanisme de coupe est conçu pour déformer l'extrémité avant et l'extrémité arrière de la partie en boucle de l'élément allongé souple de manière que ces deux extrémités soient sollicitées dans le sens distal vers le tissu en cours de suture.
