Abstract

Ein Verpackungsbeutel (1) aus Kunststoffolie, der im Bereich seines oberen Endes (5) eine gegebenenfalls wiederverschliessbar ausgebildete Öffnung aufweist, an seinem unteren Ende (10) geschlossen ist und an einem Seitenwand (8) eine Seitenfalte aufweist, die aus einem Faltenblatt (4) mit einem Oberrand (9) und Seitenrändern gebildet ist, das mit seinen Seitenrändern mit der Innenseite auf den Innenseiten des Vorderblattes (2) sowie des Rückblattes (3) des Verpackungsbeutels an deren Seitenrändern (8) anliegt und verbunden ist, wobei die Seitenfalte mit dem Oberrand (9) ihres Faltenblattes unterhalb des oberen Endes (5) des Verpackungsbeutels verschlossen enden und wobei oberhalb des Endes (9) der Seitenfalte das Vorderblatt (2) und das Rückblatt (3) an dem Seitenrand unmittelbar verbunden sind, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am oberen Ende der Seitenfalte des Faltenblatt (4) mit seiner Aussenseite auf seine Aussenseite gefaltet und an dem die obere Kante der Seitenfalte ausbildenden (9) Oberrand mit sich verbunden ist.
