Abstract

A household (10) includes a base (12) having first and second conductive terminals (PIT1, PIT2). A light source (14) has first and second leads (30a, 30b) that are connected to the first and second terminals (PIT1, PIT2) of the base (12). The light source (14) is coated with an interference filter material (40). A translucent outer jacket (16) is connected to the base (12) and surrounds the light source (14). The translucent outer jacket (16) is strenghtened to prevent a user from coming in contact with the light source (14).
