Abstract

1here is provided use of a compound in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical for inhibiting steroid sulphatase (STS) activity and steroid dehydrogenase (DH) activity wherein the compound has Formula (I) wherein X is a ring having at least 4 atoms in the ring; K is a hydrocarbyl group; R1 is any one of a sulphanate group, a phosphonate group, a thiphosphonate group, a sulphonate group or a sulphonamide group.
