Abstract

An indoor unit for air conditioner (10) having a generally rectangular diffuser (21), comprising a first flap (35) and a supporting bracket (46), wherein the first flap (35) is attached to the diffuser (21) along the longitudinal direction thereof, and elastically supported on the diffuser (21) by the longitudinal both end parts and the intermediate part between the both end parts of the diffuser, and the supporting bracket (46) supports the intermediate part of the first flap (35) and has one end fixed elastically to one side of the longer sides of the diffuser (21).
