Abstract

The invention relates to gyroscope instrumentation and can be used for measuring angles in controlling systems. The inventive solid wave gyroscope comprises a resonator embodied in the form of an axisymmetric thin-walled element, at least one electrode of the resonator fixed to the inner or outer surface thereof, a body provided with a number of electrodes of sensors which are mounted thereon and controlling electrodes arranged close to the electrodes of the resonator. The inventive gyroscope is characterised by additional electrodes which are fixed to the end surface of the resonator and connected to a zero potential and the electrodes of the sensors, which are arranged on the surface of the body. Said surface of the body is disposed in a parallel position to the end surface of the resonator and in an opposite position to the electrodes fixed to the end surface of the resonator. Pedestal alternate high-frequency current is supplied to the electrodes of the sensors. Vibration signals of the resonator are read from capacitor-type transducers which are formed by the electrodes of the sensors and the electrodes fixed to the end surface of the resonator. The invention increases the accuracy of the device and simplifies the design thereof.
