Abstract

The present invention relates to a multi-layered bag (1) which includes an inner bag (2) located within the interior of an outer bag (3), where the outer bag including a first (6) and second (7) region of weakness. The inner bag includes a region of weakness adjacent to the outer bag's second region of weakness (7). The multi-layer bag has the inner (2) and outer (3) bags sealed closed and together adjacent to the outer bag's second region of weakness (7). A method of manufacturing such a multi-layered or composite bag (1) is also disclosed.
