Abstract

An aqueous dispersion, preferably a latex, of a polar group modified polyphenylene ether or a polar group modified block copolymer of a vinly aromatic monomer and a conjugated diene, said dispersion having a mean, volume average particle size dispersed phase of less than 2.0 νm is disclosed. The latex is particularly suited for use in the formation of a coating on an inorganic filler for use in formation of thermoplastic resin blends or composites.
