Abstract

This invention relates to earth working apparatus and to earth working devices for use with the earth working apparatus in the preparation of soil for the planting of seeds and the like. One earth working device consists of at least one rotatable member (22) having a number of discs (156) and a dislodge means (152) for use in dislodging earth. Another earth working device includes tow rotatable members (22) and dislodge means (18) rotatable about the two members. The earth working apparatus consists of a self-propelled vehicle or a frame having a hitch for pulling the apparatus together with one of the earth working devices. In the case of a self-propelled vehicle, the vehicle includes attachment means for attaching the earth working device thereto.
