Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système servant à obtenir des vues souterraines désirées d'un site cible d'un patient. Le système comprend un fichier de données de balayage pour stocker, sous forme numérique, des données de balayage d'un site cible d'un patient, un pointeur pour indiquer la position et l'orientation de vues désirées, et un écran d'affichage à placer qui se place à proximité d'une zone cible d'un patient. Un dispositif informatique relié de manière fonctionnelle au fichier de données, au pointeur et à l'écran d'affichage fonctionne de façon à reconstituer des images ombrées bidimensionnelles de la zone du patient à partir de la position et de l'orientation du pointeur. En déplaçant le pointeur selon des positions et des orientations choisies, l'usager peut visualiser en temps réel des images ombrées optimales désirées du patient. L'invention concerne également un algorithme de mappage rapide pour mapper des données volumétriques sur un écran bidimensionnel. Elle concerne en outre un procédé et un système d'enregistrement de balayage volumétrique d'un champ opératoire d'un patient présentant un emplacement réel du patient.
