Abstract

L'invention concerne un produit isolant (1) se composant d'un matelas de laine minérale (5), d'un matériau de revêtement (2) comprenant un stratifié d'un film polymère (4) formant barrière à la vapeur d'eau et d'une couche de renfort (3) collée sur le matelas de laine minérale, ainsi qu'une matière adhésive (6), laquelle colle le film polymère du stratifié sur la surface du matelas de laine minérale et pénètre (7) dans l'épaisseur du matelas. On forme ce produit isolant en appliquant l'adhésif, de préférence en tant que matière expansée, à base d'eau, sur le film polymère de revêtement, en déposant le matelas de laine minérale sur l'adhésif et en comprimant l'ensemble de manière à provoquer la pénétration de l'adhésif dans l'épaisseur du matelas.
