Abstract

The invention relates to a microcapsule that consists of a capsule and a capsule content. The capsule coat comprises at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer that has a molecular weight of more than 3000 and the capsule content comprises at least two functional groups X that are reactive to isocyanate groups or epoxy groups or carboxyl groups, or a catalyst that accelerates the reaction between isocyanate groups or epoxy groups or carboxyl groups and a compound with at least two functional groups X that are reactive to isocyanate groups or epoxy groups or carboxyl groups, or both. The invention further relates to a method for producing such microcapsules, to adhesives that contain such microcapsules and to the use of the inventive microcapsules in the production of adhesives.
