Abstract

L'invention concerne la manipulation génétique de Helicobacter pylori afin d'empêcher la synthèse des lipopolysaccharides (LPS) auto-réactifs sans détruire l'intégrité physique ou la fonction de la membrane extérieure bactérienne. Cette bactérie est particulièrement utile dans la préparation de vaccins cellulaires n'induisant pas d'anticorps à réaction croisée avec des auto-épitopes. L'invention concerne également des vaccins cellulaires contre H.pylori comprenant un H.pylori mutant n'exprimant pas les LPS ou exprimant, de préférence, une forme mutante de LPS.
