  • the skew gear arrangement of gears 23 and 24 permits the shaft 25 to lie at an angle to the gearbox shafts 18 and 22 and the inclined arrangement of the gearbox 17 transfers drive from the clutch 13 towards the central shaft 25.
  • shaft 25 transfers drive forwardly to the front driving wheels 30 and to the rear driving wheels (not shown) so that the front and rear wheels are driven by the engine.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un véhicule équipé d'un moteur classique (10) orienté transversalement dans le sens de déplacement du véhicule. L'entraînement est transmis à partir du moteur (10) vers une boîte de vitesses (17). Un arbre de sortie (25) de la boîte de vitesses (17) permet de coupler l'entraînement aux roues du véhicule (30). L'entraînement du moteur (10) traverse un embrayage (13) qui transmet l'entraînement à la boîte de vitesses (17). La boîte de vitesses transmet alors l'entraînement à un arbre longitudinal (25) couplé aux arbres d'entraînement (38) pour la roue entraînée, l'axe longitudinal de la boîte de vitesses (17) étant conçu pour être orienté selon un angle aigu (alpha) par rapport au sens longitudinal du véhicule.
