Abstract

Der Erfindung liegt der Gedanke zu Grunde, eine Sondenanordnung mit einer distalen Sondenspitze (2) und einem proximalen Handstück (1) zur elektrothermischen Koagulation von Gewebe vorzusehen. Die Sondenanordnung weist dabei mindestens eine erste und zweite Elektrode (11, 13) im Bereich der distalen Sondenspitze auf. Ein Innenleiter (10) der Sondenanordnung erstreckt sich von der distalen Sondenspitze (2) bis zum proximalen Handstück (1) und kontaktiert die erste Elektrode (11) in der distalen Sondenspitze elektrisch. Ein Aussenleiter (19) der Sondenanordnung erstreckt sich von der distalen Sondenspitze (2) bis zum proximalen Handstück (1) und dient dazu, die zweite Elektrode (13) in der distalen Sondenspitze (2) elektrisch zu kontaktieren. Innen- und Aussenleiter (10,19) der Sondenanordnung sind elektrisch voneinander isoliert. Der Innenleiter (10) ist ferner derart gewählt, dass die Biegesteifigkeit der Sondenanordnung zwischen Sondenspitze (2) und Handstück (1) erhöht wird.
