When these coupling rosettes 25 do not engage in toothed wheels 17, shaft 20 can be rotated freely in the planetary gear 35.
  • Operating means 24 are biased to the position in which the connecting rosettes 25 are disengaged from toothed wheels 17 by biasing means 26, here in the form of a compression spring clamped between a bracket 19 of the backrest frame and cap 27 of shaft 20, and operating means 24 therefore act only to adjust the angle of backrest 3 in relation to seat part 2 (fig. 4) .

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un siège d'automobile comprenant une assise et un dossier s'articulant sur l'assise. Le dossier est susceptible de définir un plan principal et d'être mobile parallèlement au plan principal. Le siège peut en outre comporter un appui-tête relié mobile au dossier. Le siège peut également être pourvu d'organes détectant la position du dossier et/ou de appui-tête, des organes reliés aux organes de détection pour comparer la position détectée à une position désirée, et des organes connectés de façon commandée à l'organe de comparaison pour amener le dossier et/ou appui-tête en position désirée. Le siège peut ainsi se régler automatiquement. L'invention concerne également un dispositif assurant le déplacement de l'assise et du dossier l'un par rapport à l'autre et pouvant s'adapter pour maintenir un angle défini entre l'assise et le dossier pendant le mouvement de l'assise ou du dossier. Ce dispositif peut comporter un système d'engrenages à deux roues dentées reliées chacune à l'un des éléments et une roue intermédiaire venant entre les roues dentées.
