Abstract

The invention relates to a cigarette packet made from cardboard or plastic, comprising a prismatic base body (5) and a lid (6) for opening and closing the packet (1) and for removing smoking items, particularly cigarettes. Such a cigarette pack is known for example from US-A-6,164,444. It discloses a folding box with a rectangular cross section, which contains a cigarette wrapping made of barrier material as the inner winding. This compact and sealed inner winding has a removal opening for the cigarettes, which is closed by a separate label. The barrier material is soft and requires a supporting inner frame to seal the seams, which at the same time protects the internal cigarettes from mechanical damage and thermal stress during the sealing process. Furthermore, the inner frame provides support in the cap area for reclosing the label after a cigarette has been removed, which is achieved in this known cigarette pack by the fact that the inner part or the collar in the area of the upper ends of its side walls has tabs which form the support surfaces and thus the Apply pressure when closing the adhesive flap. To solve this problem, the cigarette pack of the type mentioned with the characterizing features of claim 1 is used.

The inner part according to the invention can be produced in the deep-drawing process as a plastic body made of polyethylene, polypropylene or another thermoplastic plastic or a combination of thermoplastic plastics in the form of a cup, an adhesive flap sealing the opening of the cup or inner part in a vapor and aroma-tight manner. For this purpose, an adhesive flap made of a suitable material is anchored to the rear wall of the inner part and placed with an adhesive or sealing area over the removal opening and thereby glued to the inner part. As a result, a vapor and aroma-tight cigarette block is formed, which can now be inserted into a standard cardboard folding box. The cap folding box is then closed in a manner known per se by closing the cap.
