Abstract

The process for recovering gold from carbon eluate which includes the steps of adsorbing gold-cyanide from solution using an anion exchange resin, eluting the gold using a suitable eluant to produce a high-concentration gold solution, and precipitating the gold in a vessel in a manner which allows the precipitate to be contained and to be processed further without it having to be handled.
