Abstract

A lid for a can of the type comprising a tubular body (10) having an upper edge, to which is double-seamed a structural ring (20), whose internal edge defines a seat (S) for the seating and retention of a lid (30) comprising a median portion (31), to be seated and retained in the seat (S), and a surrounding annular portion (32) terminating in a pending peripheral skirt (33), to be seated, by interference, around the upper edge of the tubular body (10).
