Abstract

L'invention concerne des techniques destinées à faciliter le développement de produits médicaux. Ces techniques consistent à exploiter un programme d'ordinateur pour tenir à jour une base de données relatives à une stratégie de développement pour un produit médical et à introduire un certain nombre d'objectifs dans la base de données afin de caractériser cette stratégie. Un certain nombre d'épreuves sont établies avec le programme pour tester les objectifs qui sont ensuite groupés en un certain nombre d'études. Ces études sont exécutées et les données issues de ces études sont introduites dans la base de données. Parmi ces objectifs, ces épreuves ou ces études, l'un au moins est modifié en réponse aux données introduites. Ces techniques trouvent des applications particulières dans le développement d'essais cliniques concernant de nouveaux médicaments. Dans un autre aspect, l'invention concerne diverses techniques qui impliquent la simulation d'épreuves et de groupements d'études.
