Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément électrochimique, en particulier une pile à combustible ou un empilement de piles à combustible, dans lequel des moyens de guidage et de fixation (13, 14) biseautés ou coniques en sens inverse, disposés les uns dans les autres ou contre les autres, sont placés des deux côtés dans ou sur des éléments de cadre (2) de l'unité membrane-électrode (1) et sur les plaques de réception de courant et bipolaires (3, 4) de façon à permettre un positionnement précis, un assemblage et une fixation mutuelle des composants adjacents lors du montage. Au cours du montage, les parties creuses et les parties en relief (13, 14) s'insèrent facilement et automatiquement les unes dans les autres, avec au départ un jeu important, puis elles se positionnent les unes par rapport aux autres de façon parfaitement ajustée et étanche. Grâce à une garniture (10) intégrée dans l'élément de cadre (2), le montage est considérablement simplifié.
