Keeping the washer in an open position by means of a retainer mechanism is however not a proper solution for safety reasons, because if the user during a cleaning operation incidentally drops the washing gun, the jet of fluid from the washing gun may cause severe damage, particularly when a high pressure washer is concerned.

This is accomplished by positioning the hand grip section 9 substantially symmetrically with said longitudinal axis 2 through the nozzle section 8.
  • the trigger could in principle be placed anywhere on the hand grip section 9, 9', for instance on that part of the hand grip section 9 facing the nozzle section 8, which position would correspond somewhat to the position of the trigger in the prior art washing gun 1 shown in figure 1. It is, however, as mentioned previously advantageous to position the trigger 6 at that part of the hand grip section 9, 9' which is facing away from the nozzle section 8, so that the reaction force F on the nozzle section 8, and hence on the hand grip section 9, 9' will facilitate maintained activation of the trigger 6 during operation.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un pistolet de lavage dont les caractéristiques ergonomiques sont améliorées, ce pistolet comprenant de façon classique une section de buse (8), une section de poignée (9, 9', 9'') et une gâchette (6), la section de poignée (9) étant placée par rapport à la section de buse (8) de façon que la distance entre l'axe longitudinal (2) passant par la section de buse (8) et l'axe longitudinal (4) passant par l'avant bras de l'utilisateur soit pratiquement nulle, ou au moins réduite de façon importante en comparaison aux pistolets de lavage de la technique antérieure, ce qui a pour conséquence une réduction importante du couple, dû à la force de réaction exercée sur le poignet de l'utilisateur, conduisant à une réduction de fatigue durant le fonctionnement du pistolet de lavage. En outre, la gâchette (6) est disposée de telle façon que la force de réaction provoquée par le jet de liquide quittant la buse (8) aide à maintenir la gâchette (6) en position active durant l'utilisation du pistolet.
