Abstract

A 6-substituted alkylamino-3-pyridylboric acid derivative or a salt thereof; and processes for producing these. The processes are shown by the following reaction scheme: [I] wherein each symbol is the same as defined in the description. The processes are useful for the industrial production of intermediates for a quinolonecarboxylic acid derivative or salt thereof useful as an antiinfective remedy. The 6-substituted alkylamino-3-pyridylboric acid derivative or salt thereof is represented by the general formula [1d]: [1d] wherein each symbol is the same as defined in the description. These compounds are useful as intermediates for a quinolonecarboxylic acid derivative or salt thereof useful as an antiinfective remedy.
