Abstract

Diabroticite insects, in particular the corn rootworm, are major pests of corn as well as a variety of other agricultural crops. The invention describes insecticidal aqueous-based compositions which are effective for the control of such insects (Fig. 5). The composition comprises cucurbitacin feeding stimulants in combination with toxicants which are insoluble in water or have low to moderate solubility. Additives such as emulsifiers, thickeners and adherents may also be included in the composition.
