Abstract

L'invention concerne un matelas isolant à rebords à clouer comprenant un support sensiblement plat de matière flexible et une couche de laine minérale qui adhère au support. Le support qui s'étend d'un côté ou des deux côtés de la couche de laine minérale, comporte une couche de feuille d'aluminium ainsi qu'une couche de plastique de renforcement. Le plastique est une matière moins inflammable que le papier. La valeur calorique d'une couche plastique est, de façon surprenante, inférieure à celle d'une couche papier de même résistance. La plus grande résistance du plastique est ici déterminante, cela permet d'utiliser une couche de plastique plus mince.
